We’re Joe and Emily, and we’ve had the pleasure of calling Taupō home for over a decade. It’s where we’ve raised our family, grown our businesses, and become part of this incredible community.

In 2025, we were proud to take over Innovate Central from its founders, Kat and Dave Roberts, who built this space with a clear vision: to support and nurture local businesses. We feel privileged to continue that mission—offering a welcoming, professional environment for people to grow their ideas outside of the home, while staying connected to others on a similar path.

At Innovate Central, we celebrate the spirit of small business in Aotearoa. Whether you’re a freelancer, remote worker, startup, or established entrepreneur, this is a place to work, connect, collaborate, and feel part of something bigger.
